Ilyas (AS) was sent to a people who had stopped worshipping Allah and were worshipping a false god called Ba'l.
Ilyas (AS) stood in front of them and said clearly: Will you not fear Allah? Are you worshipping Ba'l and leaving the best Creator? Allah is your Lord and the Lord of your fathers from the very beginning.
Most people rejected him and threatened him. But a small group believed. Ilyas (AS) kept calling to what was right. âĄ
Even if you are the only one doing what is right, stand firm. Being right with Allah is worth more than anything else. âĄ
Even though most people rejected him, Allah honoured Ilyas (AS) in the Quran with these words:
Peace be upon Ilyas (AS). This is how We reward those who do good. He truly was one of Our believing servants.
That is what you receive when you do good only for Allah. đ
When we do good for Allah, He honours us. Work for Allah, not for people to see. đ
Ilyas (AS) stood alone against a false god and never wavered. Allah honoured him forever in the Quran with these words: Peace be upon Ilyas (AS). That is the reward for doing good only for Allah.
