Nuh (AS) stayed among his people for 950 years, calling them to worship Allah alone. He called them night and day.
He called them together and one by one. He called them openly and privately. He tried every way he could.
His people had idols called Wadd, Suwa, Yaghuth, Ya'uq, and Nasr. Nuh (AS) told them to leave these false gods. But they put their fingers in their ears, covered themselves with their garments, and refused to listen. Even so, Nuh (AS) never gave up. 💪
Nuh (AS) never gave up for 950 years. When things are hard and people do not listen, stay patient. Allah sees everything. 💪
Allah told Nuh (AS) to build a great ship. The people walked past and laughed at him. But Nuh (AS) kept building.
When the time came, Allah gave Nuh (AS) a sign. He told him: When the oven overflows with water, load the ship with two of every kind of creature, and your family, and the people who believe.
The sky poured rain and water burst up from the earth. A great flood began. But Nuh (AS) and everyone on the ship were kept safe by Allah. 🕊️
When Allah tells us to do something, we do it even if other people laugh at us. Obeying Allah always keeps us safe. 🚢
Nuh (AS) had a son who did not believe. When the flood came, Nuh (AS) called out to him: O my son, come aboard with us and do not be with those who do not believe.
His son said: I will climb a mountain to protect me from the water.
Nuh (AS) said: There is no protection today from Allah's command, except for those He gives mercy.
The waves came between them. Then Nuh (AS) called to Allah: My Lord, my son is of my family. Allah replied: O Nuh (AS), he is not of your family. His deeds were not righteous.
Nuh (AS) immediately said: My Lord, I seek refuge with You from asking You for what I do not know. And if You do not forgive me and have mercy on me, I will be among those who lose.
Being related to a good person is not enough. What matters is what you believe and what you do. 💛
When the flood was over, Allah commanded: O earth, swallow your water. O sky, stop. And it all stopped.
The ship came to rest on a mountain called Judi.
Then Allah said: O Nuh (AS), come down in peace from Us. Blessings are on you and on the people with you.
Everything began again fresh and new. 🌱
After every storm and every hard time, Allah brings peace and a new beginning. 🌈
When Prophet Muhammad (SAW) went through the heavens on the Night Journey, he met Prophet Nuh (AS). Nuh (AS) greeted him: Welcome, O righteous brother and righteous Prophet.
Allah praises Nuh (AS) in the Quran with a very special word: Shakur, which means one who is very grateful. Allah called him a grateful servant. That is one of the most beautiful things anyone can be. 💛
Say Alhamdulillah to Allah every day when you eat, when you wake up, and when good things happen. That is the way of Prophet Nuh (AS). 🙏
Nuh (AS) called his people for 950 years and never gave up. He built the Ark and Allah saved him and the believers. Allah called Nuh (AS) a very grateful servant, Shakur. That is one of the most beautiful things Allah can say about anyone.
