Chapter 1

🌈 The Dream and What the Brothers Did

💤🌙⭐⭐⭐😊👦🏽

Yusuf (AS) had a dream. Eleven stars, the sun, and the moon were bowing down to him. His father Yaqub (AS) said to him: O my son, do not tell your brothers about this dream or they may plan against you.

But the brothers were already very jealous of Yusuf (AS). They threw him into the bottom of a well. Then some travellers came and found him. They took Yusuf (AS) to Egypt and sold him there.

Allah inspired Yusuf (AS) in the well: One day you will tell them all about this, when they do not realise who you are. Allah was always with Yusuf (AS). 💛

📖 Quran — Surah Yusuf (AS) (12:4-21)
✨ What We Learn

Even when hard things happen, Allah never leaves us. Yusuf (AS) was thrown in a well but Allah had a plan for him. 💛

Chapter 2

🏃 Yusuf (AS) Ran Away From Something Wrong

🏃💨🚪👚🙅🌟

In Egypt, Yusuf (AS) worked in a house. The wife of his master tried to get Yusuf (AS) to do something wrong. She locked all the doors.

Yusuf (AS) said: I seek Allah's protection. He is my Lord who has been good to me. Those who do wrong will not succeed. He ran to the door to get away. She grabbed his shirt from behind and it tore.

Her husband was at the door. She tried to blame Yusuf (AS). But a witness from her own family said: Look at the shirt. If it is torn from the back, she is the one who is lying. The shirt was torn from the back. Yusuf (AS) was innocent. 🌟

📖 Quran — Surah Yusuf (AS) (12:23-28)
✨ What We Learn

Seek Allah's protection and run away from wrong things, just like Yusuf (AS) did. Those who do right will always be protected by Allah. 🏃

Chapter 3

✂️ The Women Were So Surprised by Yusuf (AS)

👸👸✂️😲👨🏽😮💛

Women in the city were talking about what had happened. The master's wife invited them to a meal and gave each of them a knife. Then she asked Yusuf (AS) to come in.

When the women saw Yusuf (AS) they were so surprised that they cut their own hands. They said: Glory be to Allah! This is not a human. This is a noble angel!

The master's wife said: This is the one you blamed me for. I tried to get him to do wrong but he refused. And if he does not do what I say, I will put him in prison.

Yusuf (AS) said: My Lord, prison is better to me than what they are asking me to do. 🌟

📖 Quran — Surah Yusuf (AS) (12:30-33)
✨ What We Learn

Yusuf (AS) chose prison over doing something wrong. Sometimes the right choice is a hard one. But it is always worth it. 💚

Chapter 4

⛓️ Yusuf (AS) in Prison

⛓️🏛️💤🌾💡🙏

Yusuf (AS) was put in prison even though he had done nothing wrong. But even in prison, Yusuf (AS) spoke to the other prisoners about Allah. He told them: Are many different lords better, or Allah, the One, who has power over all things?

Allah gave Yusuf (AS) the ability to explain dreams. Two young men in prison told him their dreams and he explained what they meant. He asked one of them: Mention me to your master. But that person forgot, and Yusuf (AS) stayed in prison for more years.

Yusuf (AS) kept trusting Allah through it all.

📖 Quran — Surah Yusuf (AS) (12:36-42)
✨ What We Learn

Even in the hardest place, Yusuf (AS) called people to Allah and never gave up. We can call to good wherever we are. 🌟

Chapter 5

👑 From the Well to a Position of Trust

⛓️🏛️👑🌾🌾😊🌟

After many years, the king had a dream. He saw seven fat cows eaten by seven thin ones, and seven green ears of grain and seven dry ones. No one could explain it.

Then the man from prison remembered Yusuf (AS). Yusuf (AS) explained the dream. Seven years of good crops would come, then seven hard years that would use up what had been stored.

Yusuf (AS) would not leave prison until his name was cleared. The king asked the women about him and they said: We know no wrong in him. The master's wife also told the truth. Then the king placed Yusuf (AS) in charge of the storehouses of the land. Only Allah could bring about such a change. 🌟

📖 Quran — Surah Yusuf (AS) (12:43-55)

Be patient and honest even when things are not fair. Allah sees everything and He will honour those who do good. 👑

👨🏽🤲❤️👦👦👦😭💚

A famine came and the brothers travelled to Egypt to get food. They did not recognise Yusuf (AS). He recognised them but said nothing. He gave them their food and put their goods back in their bags so they would find them when they got home.

Later, Yusuf (AS) told them who he was. They were scared. But Yusuf (AS) said: No blame will there be upon you today. Allah will forgive you. He is the most merciful of all.

Then Yaqub (AS) came to Egypt and the whole family was together again. Yusuf (AS) made dua to his Lord: My Lord, You have given me power and taught me the meaning of dreams. Creator of the heavens and the earth, You are my protector in this world and the next. Let me die as a Muslim and join me with the righteous.
